Job Title: Subrogation & Recovery Department Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent corporate clients in Federal and State Courts, focusing on civil actions related to property damage.
- Collaborate with forensic experts to investigate and evaluate the legal and financial viability of different causes of action in both single and multi-party litigation.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, motions, and briefs.
- Prepare for and attend court hearings, presenting cases effectively.
- Take and defend depositions, maintaining a strategic approach to litigation.
- Maintain effective communication with clients and opposing counsel to ensure clarity and progress in legal proceedings.
Education and Experience Information:

- Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials, demonstrating a strong legal aptitude.
- Admission to the Colorado bar is required, ensuring the candidate is authorized to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- A minimum of four years of litigation experience is required, with a preference for experience in prosecuting and/or defending product defect claims, property damage claims, construction issues, or property insurance claims.
- Experience working with various forensic experts, such as those in fire origin and cause, mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, chemical, material, human factors, accounting, and standard of care, is highly desired.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and presenting oral arguments is necessary.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
- Willingness to travel as needed for case requirements and client meetings.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $150,000-$175,000. This range represents the law firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.
