A respected litigation firm is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation to join its hybrid team. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex toxic tort matters and gain hands-on litigation experience, including depositions, trial preparation, and motion practice. Ideal for an energetic, detail-oriented associate ready to contribute to a fast-paced, high-caliber practice.

Take and defend depositions of expert and fact witnesses
Draft complex litigation documents, including motions and memoranda
Prepare and respond to written discovery requests
Communicate with clients regularly to develop and maintain relationships
Prepare trial documents, including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists
Collaborate with team members to develop case strategy and ensure deadlines are met
Minimum of 2 years of experience in asbestos or toxic tort litigation
Licensed to practice law in California
Experience in a billable work environment
Ability to work independently and handle litigation responsibilities under deadlines
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active and in good standing with the California State Bar
Strong litigation skills, including deposition and motion practice
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail in legal writing and case management
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Ability to thrive in a collaborative yet fast-paced environment
Client-focused with a professional demeanor
