Duties

  • Manage and lead probate and trust litigation cases.
  • Represent clients in trust and estate disputes, ensuring compliance with California Probate Code and Civil Procedure.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on case development.
  • Represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Maintain consistent client communication throughout the litigation process.
  • Meet the annual billable hour target of 1,800 hours.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in probate and trust litigation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the California Probate Code and California Rules of Civil Procedure.
  • Proven ability to manage complex probate cases.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to case management.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) required.

Certifications

  • Active California Bar License required.
