Job Description:

The **Members Only** is seeking highly motivated and diverse law school interns to join their award-winning municipal law office for the Summer 2025 Internship Program. The City Attorney's Office provides legal services to over 100 departments, boards, commissions, and offices within the City and County of San Francisco's municipal government.

The Law School Internship Program is designed to provide practical knowledge and experience in municipal law and government affairs, and to help interns emerge as leaders in government and public-interest law. Interns will be assigned to one of 20+ practice teams, which specialize in areas such as aviation law, real estate, labor, environmental regulation, and more. They will work closely with deputy city attorneys, who will also serve as mentors, on a variety of legal assignments and have the opportunity to participate in client meetings, trials, court hearings, and other legal proceedings.

The internship program also offers special programming, including tours and lectures, to provide an inside-view of the important and unique work required of lawyers for a city like San Francisco.

- Orientation (Mandatory): Monday, June 9, 2025
- Program: June 9, 2025 to August 15, 2025 (minimum 8-10 weeks, but students may extend their program to satisfy academic requirements)
