Job Title: Associate Corporate Counsel, AWS Legal Products

Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as an attorney supporting AWS Governance, Operations, & Security Services.
- Work closely with internal business clients to advise on complex legal issues.
- Support new product and feature launches.
- Provide subject matter expertise on regulatory and compliance issues.
- Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Advise on regulatory issues, including privacy-related concerns.
- Oversee compliance and negotiate strategic technology agreements.
- Provide input on business strategy.
- Develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways.
- Help build processes that address risk and allow the business to innovate and scale quickly.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 2+ years of legal experience is required.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and membership in one state bar or equivalent is mandatory.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work.
- Experience in web services/cloud computing, software licensing, telecommunications, or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines.
- Sound and practical business judgment as well as common sense.
- Experience with technology, policy and regulatory compliance strategy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines.

Salary Information:
- The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in the lowest geographic market up to $195,700/year in the highest geographic market.
- Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Amazon is a total compensation company, which means that dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
- In addition to base pay, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits may be offered.
