A law firm seeks a talented Real Estate Associate to join its growing Energy & Infrastructure practice in Seattle, WA. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile energy projects, particularly in renewable sectors such as wind, solar, and battery storage. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of experience in real estate law, ideally within the energy or infrastructure fields, and have a keen interest in working on projects that span the entire lifecycle, from initial development to M&A and financing.Duties:Provide legal support across all stages of energy and infrastructure projects, including real estate due diligence, title review, and survey matters.Assist in M&A transactions, structuring deals, and navigating debt and tax equity financing for energy projects.Collaborate closely with clients and senior attorneys to advise on land use, zoning, and title issues for renewable energy projects.Draft and review various legal agreements related to energy project development and transactions.Offer strategic counsel to clients on emerging legal issues in the energy and infrastructure sectors.Assist in managing client relationships, ensuring timely updates, and maintaining strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.Requirements:3-5 years of real estate experience, with a preference for candidates with experience in the energy or infrastructure industries.Strong understanding of real estate transactions, title and survey issues, and related due diligence.Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and senior team members effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Membership to the State Bar of the jurisdiction where the candidate will be based is required.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the State Bar of the jurisdiction where the position will be located (required).Skills:Expertise in real estate law, particularly in the context of energy and infrastructure projects.Proficient in legal research, drafting, and analysis.Strong communication and client management skills.Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of renewable energy regulations and laws is a plus.Benefits:Comprehensive health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Mental health and wellness benefits, along with child, family, elder, and pet care support.Short- and long-term disability benefits and life insurance.Health Savings accounts (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA), and long-term care insurance.401(k) plan and additional retirement benefits.Flexible Time Off (FTO) program, paid holidays, and generous parental leave benefits.A supportive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment with professional development and mentoring opportunities.
