Internship Schedule
Students are strongly encouraged to adhere to the application deadlines, but late applications may be considered on a case-by-case basis if space and time permit. The deadlines for each semester are as follows:
- Spring Semester (January - April): October 15th
- Summer Semester (May - August): March 1st
- Fall Semester (September - December): March 1st

Internship Experience
Interns in Senator Crapo's office will have the opportunity to work with staff members on legislative matters, draft constituent correspondence, assist in communications operations, attend congressional hearings, and much more. This hands-on experience in the exciting Washington, DC environment will provide interns with ample time to see the monuments and museums and take part in many cultural events for which our nation's capital is known.
Internships are paid and typically run the length of conventional academic semesters, with some flexibility for class schedules and other factors. Preference will be given to college students in their junior or senior year, but recent graduates who have been out of school for up to a year will also be considered. Many individuals choose to intern after graduation to gain valuable experience before entering the workforce or pursuing graduate studies.
