Job Title: Manager, International Tax (Investment Management)
Job Responsibilities:
As a Manager in the International Tax (Investment Management) sector, the candidate will be integral to the engagement team, utilizing their expertise in accounting and taxation to deliver tax consulting and compliance services. Responsibilities include:
- Performing high-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax filings.
- Preparing and leading client meetings on compliance and advisory projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of various transactions.
- Training, mentoring, and supervising new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors.
- Taking on lead client-contact roles, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
- Conducting billing and profitability analysis on engagements to ensure financial efficiency.
- Engaging in marketplace eminence building and pursuits to enhance the firm's reputation and client base.
- Providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance for the development and motivation of the engagement team.
- Supervising Senior and Tax Consultants to ensure quality and compliance with tax regulations.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of five years of experience in providing tax planning and/or compliance services is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field is necessary.
- The candidate must possess one of the following active accreditations:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible, must be a Licensed Attorney or an Enrolled Agent.
- Experience in strategic planning initiatives, with a focus on partnership, funds, and/or international taxation, is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment is beneficial.
- Previous experience in a Big 4 firm and a strong executive presence are advantageous.
Salary Information:
The wage range for this role is between $107,100 to $235,300. This range considers various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, and compensation decisions are case-dependent. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to rules governing the program, which considers individual and organizational performance.
