Job Overview: A national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Partner to join its expanding labor and employment practice. This position is available in either Denver, CO, or Portland, OR. The ideal candidate should have established leadership qualities and an existing book of business. The firm offers a collegial and debt-free environment, with a focus on fostering professional growth and collaboration.

Location:

• Denver, CO

Duties:

• Lead and expand the labor and employment practice in the designated office.
• Provide legal counsel on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including compliance, litigation, and regulatory issues.
• Manage relationships with existing clients while actively developing new business.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm on labor and employment issues as part of a national practice.
• Maintain a book of business and meet yearly billable hour expectations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of $500,000 in portable business.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to grow and lead a practice.
• Strong track record in labor and employment law.
• Admission to the Oregon or Colorado Bar, depending on location.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Oregon Bar or Colorado Bar, in good standing.

Skills:

• Extensive experience in labor and employment law, including litigation, compliance, and advising clients on regulatory matters.
• Exceptional client relationship management and business development skills.
• Strong leadership abilities with the capability to grow a practice.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and legal drafting skills.
• Ability to collaborate across various practice groups within a large firm.
