Overview:
The **Members Only** is dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to the six million residents of Missouri. We are seeking motivated and highly qualified interns to join our team and assist with various legal matters. Our office is located in Jefferson City, but we also have offices in St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, and Cape Girardeau, providing opportunities for interns to gain experience in different regions of the state. We welcome both law students and undergraduates to apply for internships during the academic year and/or over the summer. The internship can be taken for class credit or as a paid position, and we offer a professional and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Assist with drafting legal documents, such as memos, briefs, and pleadings
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
- Participate in meetings and discussions with attorneys and other legal staff
- Perform administrative tasks, such as organizing files and maintaining databases
- Complete projects and assignments as assigned by supervising attorneys
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a law school or undergraduate program
- Excellent academic record and strong writing skills
- Interest in pursuing a career in law or public service
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
