Reputed Firm in Salem, Oregon is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Assistant Professor of Law to join their esteemed faculty. This is a tenure-track position with the opportunity for growth and success in teaching and scholarship. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach two courses each semester, providing classroom instruction, feedback on assignments, and academic counseling
- Conduct research and produce written works of scholarship
- Engage in service work with University and College of Law committees
- Work closely with students inside and outside of the classroom
- Maintain professionalism and foster a positive learning environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Law degree
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Enthusiasm for legal scholarship and participation in academic life
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with diverse groups
- Competence in computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior published scholarship in candidate's area of interest
- Teaching experience at an ABA-Accredited Law School
- Licensed attorney with experience in the practice of law
- Interest in experiential education and simulation-based courses
