Job Title: Trial Attorney BI/UM

Experience Information:

- 6 years of experience handling personal injury or civil litigation/trial cases
- Licensed to practice law in jurisdiction(s) to be served
- Experience practicing law in court systems within geographic area
- Military experience in related skills (Navy: Legalman (LN), Marines: 4410, 4411, 4402, 4405, Army: 27A, USAF: 51JX/5J0X1)

Responsibilities:

- Independently manage caseload of simple to moderate Property and Casualty insurance defense cases
- Handle and/or assist with complex litigation cases
- Appear in court for arbitrations, trials, and mediations
- Provide legal advice to clients and P&C Claims team members
- Develop and implement legal strategy and budget projections
- Prepare legal documents and conduct direct settlement negotiations
- Stay current on relevant laws and attend courses to maintain appropriate skill sets
- Provide training to support staff, P&C Claims, and Claims Litigation
- Ensure risks are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled
