Responsibilities:
- Represent indigent persons in criminal cases
- Handle civil matters, including child in need of aid, delinquency, and mental health commitment cases
- Appear in court and represent clients in misdemeanor matters
- Conduct bail hearings, arraignments, and misdemeanor sentencing
- Participate in evidentiary hearings, trials, and juvenile delinquency hearings
- Negotiate cases, visit clients in jail, write motions, and assist staff attorneys
- Work on civil cases in the Anchorage office (one internship available)

Requirements:
- 12-week work commitment
- Availability during academic year (specific dates dependent on academic schedule)
- Ability to receive permit to appear in court under state's student practice rule
- Strong interest in criminal and civil law
