Job Title: Manager, M&A Tax
Job Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a comprehensive range of corporate tax services, encompassing planning, research, and other activities related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver due diligence and tax structuring services, effectively communicating findings and opportunities to clients.
- Assist senior members of the M&A Tax practice with diverse technical tax issues, including consolidated returns, S Corps, partnerships, LLCs, and LLPs.
- Support clients with current tax issues such as bankruptcy emergence planning, out-of-court workouts, debt restructurings, tax basis, earnings and profits, and section 382 studies.
- Develop, motivate, and train staff-level team members.
- Maintain integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold a respectful and courteous work environment.
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum of five years of recent experience in federal tax and/or mergers and acquisitions within a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Must be a licensed CPA, EA, or hold a JD/LLM, along with other credentials approved by the company. If an individual does not possess at least one of the approved credentials upon employment commencement, they have one year from their hire date to obtain at least one of the approved credentials.
- Broad knowledge of corporate tax matters across various industries.
- Capability to manage multiple engagements and client service teams.
- Excellent research and writing skills.

- The company complies with all local and state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Salary offers are determined based on relevant factors such as the applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and market considerations.

- California Salary Range: $117,100 - $244,800.
