Job Title: Law Fellow
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop legal expertise in areas such as housing, labor and employment, environmental justice, education, and health.
- Aid and represent rural immigrants, particularly victims of trafficking and workplace-related crimes.
- Prioritize representation for immigrants qualifying for U visas, T visas, and Naturalization.
- Provide immigration services to Afghan parolees.
- Create community resources and outreach materials to help the immigrant community understand their rights and options regarding immigration.
- Work with the Immigration Project to address the lack of immigration representation in rural areas.
- Collaborate with the organization during the fellowship application process to secure funding.
- Successfully complete the fellowship program with the potential for longer-term employment with the organization.
