Job Title: Attorney II - Insurance Defense
Experience: Minimum 3 years of insurance defense experience
Salary: $125,011 - $231,539 per year
Position Type: Remote

Overview:
**Members Only** is seeking a highly qualified Attorney II to join our legal team. As an Attorney II, you will be responsible for defending 1st and 3rd party cases related to personal injury lawsuits. This position offers a competitive base salary, incentive compensation, and the flexibility to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing new and transfer file assignments and providing initial evaluation letter to claims
- Summarizing discovery responses and medical records within 30 days
- Taking and defending depositions of parties, lay witnesses, and expert witnesses
- Preparation of motions, oppositions, and replies to motions
- Court appearance at law and motion
- Trial preparation, trial, and posttrial motions
- Other tasks as assigned by managing and senior managing attorneys

Qualifications:
- Law degree and admission to the bar in the state(s) of practice
- Minimum of 3 years of insurance defense or related experience
- Experience as the primary attorney defending personal injury lawsuits
- 3+ insurance defense personal injury trials to verdict or equivalent litigation experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of insurance, torts, evidence, civil procedure, and trial practice
- Effective communication, persuasion, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum direction and manage a caseload with exposures up to $150,000
