Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm with office in Los Angeles is seeking a talented Mid-Level Associate to join its Managed Care Litigation team, part of the broader Global Commercial Disputes Practice. This role is ideal for a litigator with 3–5 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration. The position offers a dynamic opportunity for attorneys who are ready to take ownership of litigation matters, coordinate with legal teams, and act as a primary client contact. Prior experience in managed care or healthcare litigation is strongly preferred.

Duties:
Handle a range of complex commercial litigation and arbitration matters
Serve as lead associate on litigation cases, managing workstreams and timelines
Coordinate with junior associates, paralegals, and support staff
Act as a point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication and service
Develop case strategies, draft pleadings, and manage discovery
Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and arbitration proceedings
Support business development and client relationship efforts
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of complex commercial litigation and arbitration experience
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases independently
Experience coordinating litigation teams and working closely with clients
Managed care or healthcare-related litigation experience preferred
Must be an active member of the California State Bar
Education:
Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
Strong academic record required
Certifications:
Admission to practice law in California (active status)
Skills:
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

Outstanding communication and client service skills
Familiarity with arbitration and healthcare litigation procedures
