Job Title: Associate Employment and Civil Litigation

Job Responsibilities:
The position involves working as a solicitor specializing in employment law and/or civil litigation, with responsibilities that also include other dispute resolution work. The solicitor will be expected to manage employment law matters, engage in research, draft legal documents, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. The role requires a pragmatic and focused approach to problem-solving, maintaining strong client relationships, and networking with clients and potential referrers of work. The solicitor is expected to work both independently and as part of a team, assist and mentor less experienced team members, and contribute positively to the firm’s culture.

Education and Experience Information:
The candidate must have more than 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) as a solicitor. A strong academic record is essential, along with excellent research, drafting, and communication skills. The role requires a solid track record in handling employment law matters, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems pragmatically. The candidate should possess a passion for the law and have the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team. Experience in mentoring and a good sense of humor are also desirable attributes.
