Job Title: Staff Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
The Staff Attorney at Company will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal services to support car wash acquisitions, greenfield development, and general real estate matters. Key duties include:

- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial and real estate agreements such as asset purchase agreements, purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, commercial leases, development agreements, construction agreements, and related disclosure schedules and ancillary documents.
- Reviewing third-party due diligence reports for acquisition and greenfield development sites.
- Coordinating diligence efforts within the legal team and in cooperation with the development and finance teams.
- Developing company policies and procedures collaboratively with other internal departments.
- Participating in and contributing to a broad range of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), greenfield development, and other strategic transactions.
- Collaborating with other team members of the Governance, Risk and Compliance Department in a fast-paced and collegial corporate environment.

Education and Experience Information:
- The candidate must possess a . degree and be admitted to practice law, in good standing in Arizona, preferably, or another state.
- A minimum of three years’ experience practicing law, preferably in a large law firm or in-house department, is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial and real estate transactions; development, land use, and construction law experience is desirable.
- The candidate should have a strong academic background and excellent skills in writing, contract drafting, communication, project management, and interpersonal interactions.
- There should be a demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of independence, proactively identify potential legal and business risks, balance multiple business demands, and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Excellent skills and experience with managing stakeholders outside of reporting lines are essential.
- Dedication to client service, the ability to think in complex and ever-changing situations, problem-solving skills, and the ability to execute and transfer knowledge are required.
- The candidate should be hard-working and act with a sense of urgency to accomplish key objectives with overlapping timelines.
