Salary Range: $85,000 - $155,000 annually

What You'll Do

- Manage tax planning and compliance for closely held businesses
- Guide clients through complex transactions
- Lead teams to success
- Build strong relationships with clients
- Foster a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence

Tax Strategy & Compliance:

- Calculate tax effects of transactions
- Conduct technical tax research
- Manage tax partner expectations
- Handle billing and WIP management
- Review tax returns and manage tax workflow

Client Experience:

- Oversee overall client experiences
- Stay up to date on current tax laws and regulatory changes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high net worth clients

Team Leadership:

- Coordinate multiple engagement teams' schedules and deadlines
- Coach and mentor staff, seniors, and managers
- Respect and celebrate the value of each team member
- Be growth-oriented and work towards building a leveraged model
- Provide motivation to the team
- Exhibit forward thinking and innovation

Who You Are

- Bachelor's degree required
- CPA or JD preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience at a public accounting firm
- Solid understanding of challenges related to corporation and partnership returns
- Practical understanding of tax credits and incentives
- Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Enthusiasm for coaching and developing team members
- Experience advising clients on a variety of consulting and compliance engagements
- Experience conducting tax research and analyzing a wide variety of tax issues
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and team player mindset
- Strong time and project management skills
- Ability to maintain and develop strong relationships with clients and internally
- Willingness and ability to learn new concepts
- Strong external and internal communication skills
- Understanding of Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe
- Strong understanding of CCH Axcess
- Initiative to learn and operate in a fast-paced environment
