Job Title: Capital Markets & Public Company Income Principal
Job Responsibilities:
The Capital Markets & Public Company Income Principal at the law firm is responsible for managing and executing complex legal transactions related to securities law and capital markets. This role involves working with both small and large business clients on sophisticated transactions across various industry sectors. The principal will navigate the complexities of public offerings, securities regulation, and corporate governance. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling public company reporting obligations
- Managing public securities offerings
- Ensuring SEC compliance
- Overseeing corporate governance requirements
- Executing debt and equity market transactions
- Working collaboratively with a diverse team of attorneys and staff across multiple offices
- Providing excellent client service and maintaining strong client relationships
- Engaging in pro bono and public service matters, with a focus on protecting the rights of vulnerable individuals
- Contributing to the firm's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of seven years of experience in securities law, capital markets transactions, public security offerings, SEC compliance, corporate governance requirements, debt and equity market transactions, or related areas
- A portable book of business is required
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an American Bar Association (ABA)-accredited law school
- License to practice law
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent analytical and writing skills
- A client-service approach with exceptional communication skills
- Ability to manage significant individual responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Salary Information:
The annualized salary range for this position is $200,000 to $325,000. Actual compensation will be adjusted based on the candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
