Job Title: Financial Services Tax - Real Estate Senior Manager
Job Responsibilities:
A career in the Financial Services Tax practice within the Corporate Tax services at the company entails aiding clients in meeting their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. As a Senior Manager, the role involves advising clients on local and international tax affairs, acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, and managing working capital and profit-sharing for partners. Responsibilities include:
- Advising clients on the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties.
- Providing advice on the tax implications of deals.
- Helping Financial Services clients navigate the complex national and international tax environment, including stringent capital requirements, operational tax risks, and investments in different jurisdictions.
- Assisting clients with tax structuring and addressing challenges in the continuously changing tax world.
- Leading as a problem solver from strategy to execution.
- Encouraging team participation and inviting opinions from all members.
- Managing ambiguous and unstructured problems effectively.
- Initiating open coaching conversations at all levels.
- Balancing big picture thinking with managing relevant details.
- Anticipating stakeholder needs and developing potential solutions.
- Contributing technical knowledge in areas of specialization.

This includes utilizing the company's extensive technical knowledge, specialization, and industry insights to solve client needs, while promoting innovation and improvement.
Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years
Certification(s) Required:
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intimate knowledge of tax compliance methods and strategy consulting for Real Estate Investment Trusts and Real Estate Partnerships.
- Considerable knowledge of partnership structures and their impact on real estate transactions and tax liabilities.
- Comprehensive technical skills, including providing full services to real estate owners, developers, and investors.
- Considerable experience in managing client relationships, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections.
- Experience as a team leader, fostering trust, seeking diverse views, and providing feedback.
- Success as a tax technical business advisor, developing new relationships and selling new services with a "One Firm" service mindset.
- Familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
- Knowledge of automation and digitization, leading by example in a professional services environment, including innovating with technology and leveraging data visualization tools.
Salary Information:
The salary range for the position is $119,300 - $328,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
