Job Title: Counsel, Commercial Transactions

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent legal advice and counsel to a broad assortment of clients on a variety of topics, with a particular emphasis on complex commercial transactions.
- Offer cross-functional transactional legal support to business, colleagues, and leaders.
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
- Bring structure, uniformity, and efficiency to the legal department's transaction work.
- Develop best practices and procedures to mitigate the company's risk.
- Develop contract governance, including playbooks, alternate contract provisions, templates, and training material.
- Identify the need for legal support for business transactions and projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Education and Experience Information:
- Law degree from an accredited law school.
- At least four years of legal experience.
- License to practice law in at least one state.
- Demonstrated excellence in drafting complex commercial transactions in a retail context.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams to move projects forward by gaining necessary support.
- Proven track record of risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated bias towards action and innovation.

Salary Information:
- The annual salary range for this position is $110,,.
- Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
- Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
