A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney with experience in business transactions, real estate matters, and estate planning or administration. Duties

  • Provide legal counsel on business transactions, including entity formation, contract drafting, and compliance.
  • Advise clients on real estate matters, such as acquisitions, leases, and property disputes.
  • Assist with estate planning and administration, including drafting wills, trusts, and probate documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Negotiate and draft contracts, agreements, and other transactional documents.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop strategic solutions tailored to their legal needs.
  • Manage cases effectively, ensuring timely and accurate completion of legal work.

Requirements

  • Experience in business law, real estate transactions, and/or estate planning.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Licensed to practice law in California.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active California Bar License.

Skills

  • Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
  • Strong negotiation and contract drafting abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.
