Job Responsibilities:
The Tax Senior Associate at the company will be responsible for providing tax compliance and advisory services specifically tailored to investment partnerships and related management entities. The role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering financial service knowledge and expertise while building and managing client relationships. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing tax allocation schedules, Schedules K-1, Forms 1065, and other related schedules.
- Offering advisory services to clients in the investment partnership sector.
- Collaborating with a team to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
- Managing client relationships effectively to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Utilizing a thorough understanding of tax implications associated with financial products to inform decision-making.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Tax Senior Associate position should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a Bachelor’s degree, ., . in Taxation, and/or a Master's in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college or university.
- A CPA candidate is required, with CPA certification preferred.
- 2 to 4+ years of investment partnership tax experience, including the preparation of allocation schedules, Schedules K-1, Forms 1065, and related schedules.
- A working knowledge of alternative investment vehicles and structures, such as hedge funds and private equity funds.
- A thorough understanding of the tax implications associated with financial products.
- Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
Salary Information:
The compensation range for the Tax Senior Associate position is estimated to be between $90,000 to $130,000 in the California and New York Metropolitan areas. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, certifications, and geographical location. In addition to a competitive salary, the company offers comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
