Senior Director, Associate General Counsel - Commercial:

Summary:
Snowflake is looking for an experienced commercial transactions leader to serve on and help scale their world-class commercial legal team. This role requires a collaborative and pragmatic team player with superb management, transactional, and communication skills. As the Senior Director, Associate General Counsel - Commercial, you will be responsible for leading Snowflake's Americas' commercial legal team and managing complex customer negotiations and projects. This is an in-person role based in Menlo Park or Dublin, California and is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Sales teams and other departments to drive revenue through SaaS transactions
- Lead and manage complex sales agreements
- Supervise and lead the commercial legal team for the Americas region
- Handle escalations and resolve conflicts
- Act as a trusted advisor on legal and business-related issues to senior business leaders
- Manage risk and ensure compliance in agreements
- Respond promptly to the demands of an active technology sales team
- Develop and deliver training on legal issues and contract processes
- Support continuous improvements in forms, policies, and processes
- Stay up-to-date on legal developments related to Snowflake's services

Qualifications:
- At least 15 years of relevant commercial legal experience
- At least 8 years of strong management experience
- Law degree from an accredited . law school
- Outstanding analytical, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong background with SaaS-centric issues
- Ability to think and act holistically as a "business owner"
- Good judgment in issue-spotting and delegation
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Highly effective interpersonal skills
- Service-oriented, responsive, and professional
- Experience with highly regulated cloud customers and knowledge of AI legal developments

Salary Information:
- Estimated base salary range: $266,000 - $404,200
- Eligible for bonus and equity plan
- Starting salary determined based on skills, experience, and location
