Location:

Duties:

  • Draft and revise estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives

  • Ensure compliance with federal and North Carolina estate laws

  • Conduct legal research and stay informed on estate planning legislation and best practices

  • Represent clients in probate court and assist with court filings

  • Administer trusts and support clients through the trust administration process

  • Maintain effective communication with clients and provide legal counsel tailored to their goals

  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on case development

  • Attend firm meetings and participate in continuing legal education opportunities

Requirements:

  • 1–3 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration preferred

  • Ability to manage time, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional demeanor with commitment to client service

  • Willingness to engage in professional and community involvement

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in North Carolina (required)
