Job Title: International Program Clerkship

Job Responsibilities:
Summer Law Clerks at the organization will engage in a variety of activities that are critical to case development and litigation strategy. These responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with several attorneys to develop legal strategies and theories.
- Drafting pleadings and briefs for ongoing cases.
- Conducting legal research to support case development.
- Gathering evidence pertinent to cases.
- Attending client meetings and court proceedings.
- Participating in programmatic offerings such as seminars with attorneys and guest speakers on current environmental issues.
- Engaging with local and regional environmental groups.
- Attending a job interview workshop to enhance professional development.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must be law students enrolled in a . law school through the fall of 2026, ensuring they are not graduating before December 2026. It is essential that candidates are available to commit to a ten-week period during the summer of 2026. Furthermore, summer law clerks are required to work from within the . during their clerkship.

Salary Information:
The clerkship is a paid position, with the organization providing a stipend of $1, per week. This stipend is subject to deductions if the candidate receives external funding, such as through their law school's summer funding program. The total stipend will be adjusted based on any other sources of funding and applicable taxes. The clerkship is designed to last for 10 weeks, with full-time hours set at hours per week. Candidates are encouraged to pursue outside funding, although this will not influence the hiring decision.
