A well-established litigation law firm based in Walnut Creek, California is seeking a mid-level Personal Injury Litigation Associate Attorney with 5–7 years of experience. This is a full-time hybrid position involving a dynamic caseload of complex personal injury matters, including catastrophic injury, toxic torts, aviation incidents, and vehicular accidents. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience and a desire to represent seriously injured clients in high-stakes cases.

Represent plaintiffs in personal injury litigation, including in state and federal court
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement agreements
Conduct depositions and legal research
Appear in court for hearings, trials, and case management conferences
Advise clients regarding legal rights and potential strategies
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel
Ensure compliance with legal standards, deadlines, and procedures
Manage all aspects of case files from inception through resolution
5–7 years of experience handling personal injury or civil litigation matters
Proven ability to handle cases independently and take lead on litigation tasks
Familiarity with catastrophic injury, mass tort, or toxic tort litigation preferred
Experience in trial preparation and courtroom advocacy is a plus
Demonstrated client service orientation and case management capability
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the State of California (required)
Excellent legal research and analytical skills
Strong verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
Skilled negotiator with strong problem-solving aptitude
