Job Title: Associate Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
The Associate Attorney at the law firm will engage in a wide array of legal responsibilities, primarily centered around civil defense litigation, insurance claims, bodily injury, construction defect disputes, family, and estate law. The role involves handling all phases of litigation from initiation to resolution, including:

- Conducting comprehensive investigations into claims and disputes, gathering evidence, consulting with experts, and documenting findings.
- Drafting legal documents such as complaints, petitions, motions, discovery requests, and other court filings.
- Managing the discovery process, including obtaining and reviewing evidence like documents, depositions, and interrogatories.
- Supporting firm partners in court hearings, trials, or arbitration by presenting evidence and making legal arguments to advocate for clients.
- Communicating with clients to keep them informed about their case progress and advising them on legal options and strategic decisions.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations to safeguard the interests of the firm and its clients.
- Exhibiting a proactive work ethic, capable of working independently and collaboratively under varying time constraints.
- Demonstrating effective time management, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining an understanding of the case cycle and timeline.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school is required.
- An active Colorado Bar License is mandatory to practice law in the state of Colorado.
- Experience in civil procedure, legal writing, and drafting is essential.

Salary Information:
The compensation for the Associate Attorney position at the law firm is commensurate with experience, with the following general salary ranges:
- For candidates with 0–3 years of experience: Starting at $85,000 annually, with full benefits and potential for a performance bonus.
- For candidates with more than 3 years of experience: Starting at $100,000 annually, with full benefits and potential for a performance bonus.
- The law firm values transparency and is open to discussing starting compensation tailored to the value the candidate brings to the team.
