H2: Volunteer Law Clerk Program: Serve the citizens of Maryland and assist with litigation, legal research, and writing.
Overview:
- Opportunity to serve as a law clerk for the **Members Only** in various legal fields.
- Work with state agencies, boards, commissions, officials, and institutions.
- Participate in legal research, writing, witness and client interviews, and assist with litigation.
- Gain valuable experience in criminal investigations, consumer protection, and counsel to state agencies.
- Counsel and litigate for agencies, boards, commissions, officials, and institutions of Maryland State Government.
- Opportunity to make a difference in communities all across the state.
Organization:

- Represents, advises, and assists the Department of Labor in its diverse functions and programs.
- Represents the agency in all litigation matters and serves as advice counsel for various units.
- Represents the state in virtually every legal arena.

Qualifications:
- Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
- Strong communication and team skills.
- Good work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Expected to work no less than 15-20 hours per week.
- May be eligible for course credit.
