Job Title:
Tax Senior - Federal / Corporate Tax

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Consultant within the Business Tax Services group at the company, you will be an integral part of tax engagement teams, providing essential tax services to both public and private companies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing detailed technical reviews of partnership, corporate, and individual federal tax returns, along with reviewing all related work papers.
- Coordinating with clients' tax and finance departments for tax planning and compliance data gathering.
- Conducting detailed reviews of income tax provisions following ASC 740.
- Researching federal tax legislation to comprehend its impact on compliance and consulting.
- Assisting in various tax consulting projects, including research and writing projects related to federal tax planning, restructuring, controversy, and accounting for income taxes.
- Managing engagement workflow and supervising tax consultants and interns on assigned engagements.

Education and Experience Information:
Required qualifications for this role include:
- The ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires . Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week.
- Capability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on your work and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in federal taxation.
- Experience in the preparation and review of federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
- Possession of one of the following active accreditations, obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Certifications such as Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Preferred qualifications include:
- An advanced degree such as a Master's of Tax, JD, and/or LLM.
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment.
- A passion for leveraging technology and exploring new technology solutions.
- Experience with accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC740.
- Prior experience with a Big 4 or large CPA firm.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role considers a variety of factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications, along with other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate does not account for the applicable geographic differential associated with the position's location. At the company, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,570 to $151,580.

Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the governing rules, where an award, if any, depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
