Description:
Amazon Advertising is seeking an Ad Policy Manager to join the Advertising Trust Policy team. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, advocating for customers, providing training, and developing policies and standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and experience in regulatory positions and working with metrics and data analysis. This position offers a varied and exciting remit and requires a self-starter who can solve issues with autonomy and influence.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to support ad policy team's work
- Resolve ad policy escalations and advocate for customers
- Deliver internal training and ensure training materials are up to date and localized
- Track, analyze, and report on activities
- Build new policies, refine existing policies, and develop policy standards
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in ads regulator, risk management, compliance, policy enforcement, or related field
- 5+ years' program or project management experience
- 3+ years' experience working with engineering teams
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present complex technical and metadata information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree, law degree, or MBA
- Proven experience driving engineering projects
- Proven experience working with metrics and data analysis
- Proven experience working on digital advertising in a regulatory position
- Proven experience with creative acceptance policies, advertising standards, or related field
