Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze complex legal issues for individual judges
- Provide personal and confidential assistance to a judge or judges
- Draft decisions on motions and trial decisions
- Conferencing with attorneys for scheduling and discovery purposes
- Excellent writing, analytical, time management, and interpersonal skills required

Qualifications:
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- 2 years of service as an Associate Law Clerk to Judge OR 5 years of relevant legal experience (including up to 18 months of pre-admission experience)

Assignment: Assigned to a **Members Only** Judge in the District of New York (downtown Manhattan)
Jurisdiction: Civil claims against the State of New York with no monetary cap
Subject matter jurisdiction: Wrongful death, personal injury, medical malpractice, labor law, contract, eminent domain, and unjust convictions cases
