Commercial Contracts/Supply Chain Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The Commercial Contracts/Supply Chain Associate will work within the Business department of the law firm, engaging with both small and large business clients across various industry sectors. The associate will be responsible for:
- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide range of commercial contracts, such as Manufacturing Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Sales Broker Agreements, Raw Material Supply Agreements, Packaging Supply Agreements, Equipment Leases, Equipment Purchase Agreements, and Product Purchase and Sale/Supply Agreements.
- Collaborating effectively across diverse industries while maintaining a strong understanding of contract law and risk management.
- Providing excellent client service by working with attorneys and staff motivated by the same goal.
- Participating in pro bono and public service matters, contributing to significant cases that protect the rights of vulnerable people.
- Supporting the law firm's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through involvement in the Opportunity & Progress Council's strategic initiatives.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ensuring responsive and professional service to all clients.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial contracts.
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
- License to practice law is mandatory.
- Strong academic credentials with excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Demonstrated client-service approach with exceptional communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for working as part of a diverse team.
Salary Information:
The annualized salary range for the Commercial Contracts/Supply Chain Associate position is $165,000 to $180,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s relevant experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
