Job Title: Associate General Counsel Director, Product & Privacy

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strong legal leadership on strategic initiatives, exercising sound judgment.
- Collaborate with product and business teams throughout product development to identify and mitigate potential legal risks.
- Engage with internal business partners to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices, while guiding them towards successful project resolutions.
- Simplify and communicate complex legal concepts in easily understandable terms.
- Educate employees, partners, and clients on emerging privacy issues affecting the company and the industry.
- Maintain an updated understanding of the intersection of global privacy laws and advertising technology, focusing on the use of cookies, tags, pixels, AI/ML models, and other mechanisms in digital advertising personalization.
- Collaborate with legal and business team members to enhance processes.
- Work directly with business team leadership to provide and gather information, building consensus on product strategy and project deadlines.
- Proactively identify and lead projects and initiatives affecting the team, department, and company, emphasizing cross-department collaboration.

Education and Experience Information:
- . degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Must be a member in good standing of an applicable state bar.
- 12+ years of legal experience.
- Understanding of legal issues impacting the digital advertising industry, including self-regulatory guidelines, privacy and data governance issues, consumer protection, and global privacy laws and regulations.
- Technology savvy with experience advising on advertising technology matters.
- Detailed understanding of US state privacy laws is preferred.
- Possess excellent critical thinking and analytical writing skills.
- Decisive, forward-thinking, energetic, and accountable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well under pressure with diligence, organization, and high autonomy.
- Capable of distilling complex issues to the bottom line and providing practical, business-friendly advice that can be operationalized.
- Builds effective relationships based on trust, respect, and confidence inside and outside the company.
- Moves fluidly between macro strategic thinking and tactical excellence.

Salary Information:
- The base salary range for this role is $201,100—$368,700 USD.
- Compensation may vary based on experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location.
- Employees may be eligible for stock-based compensation grants based on company and individual performance.
- Other compensation may include sales-based incentives and commissions.
