A top-tier law firm with a nationally recognized Intellectual Property Disputes practice is seeking junior to midlevel associates to join its litigation team. Ideal candidates will have 1–5 years of experience in complex IP litigation at a large law firm and a technical background in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering. This position is open across several key . offices and provides an opportunity to work on high-profile technology-related litigation matters.

Location

  • Seattle, WA

Duties

  • Represent clients in patent and other intellectual property disputes

  • Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents

  • Conduct discovery, depositions, and witness preparation

  • Perform legal research and analysis

  • Assist in trial preparation and participate in court proceedings

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys, clients, and technical experts

  • Contribute to strategy development and case management

Requirements

  • 1–5 years of litigation experience, preferably from a large law firm environment

  • Demonstrated experience or interest in intellectual property disputes

  • Admission to the bar in the state corresponding to the desired office location

  • Ability to handle complex legal and technical matters efficiently

  • Willingness to work across teams and practice groups

Education

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited . law school

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in good standing for the applicable state jurisdiction

Skills

  • Preferred technical background in:

    • Computer science

    • Electrical engineering

    • Computer engineering

  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical abilities

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to clients and colleagues
