Position Summary
Deloitte is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join their International Private Equity and Investment Management practice. In this role, you will provide tax consulting and compliance services to various clients in the private equity and investment management industries. You will also have the opportunity to work with both and foreign clients and analyze complex tax issues.
What You’ll Do
As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading an engagement team and providing tax consulting and compliance services to clients. Your responsibilities will include performing high-level reviews of tax research and work papers, leading client meetings, training and mentoring new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors, and providing leadership and career guidance for the development of your team. You will also have the opportunity to take on lead client-contact roles, participate in marketplace eminence building and pursuits, and supervise Senior and Tax Consultants.
The Team
**Members Only** is the global leader in providing professional services to the Investment Management industry. Their tax industry group is comprised of over 1,400 partners, principals, and employees who provide a range of tax services to a broad range of Investment Management companies. Their clients include investment advisers and administrators from various sectors, such as hedge funds, private equity, alternative products, and more.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 5 years of experience providing tax planning and/or compliance services. You must also have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and one of the following active accreditations: Licensed CPA, licensed attorney, or Enrolled Agent. Additionally, you must be able to travel up to 25% for work and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience participating in strategic planning initiatives, a focus on partnership, funds, and/or international taxation, and previous Big 4 experience. Strong executive presence and experience working in a fast-paced, team environment are also preferred.
