Job Title: Financial Services Tax - Real Estate Senior Manager
Job Responsibilities:
A career in the Financial Services Tax practice within the Corporate Tax services at the company involves assisting clients in managing their tax obligations while understanding the impact of tax on their business operations. The role requires advising clients on both local and international tax affairs, acting as a strategic consultant in business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. The responsibilities also include helping organizations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties and advising on the tax implications of deals. The role involves navigating the complex and ever-changing national and international tax environment, addressing stringent capital requirements, managing operational tax risks, and understanding the tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. The Senior Manager will assist clients with tax structuring and addressing the challenges of the evolving tax landscape both locally and globally.
As a Senior Manager, the key responsibilities include:

Additional Responsibilities:
The role involves leading as a technology-enabled tax advisor, providing value through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. The Senior Manager is expected to demonstrate success as a tax technical business advisor, developing new relationships, and introducing new services with a "One Firm" service mindset. This includes innovating with new and existing technologies, working with large complex data sets, and utilizing digitization tools to optimize engagements.
Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intimate knowledge of tax compliance methods, strategy consulting for Real Estate Investment Trusts, and Real Estate Partnerships.
- Considerable knowledge of partnership structures and their impact on real estate transactions and corresponding tax liabilities.
- Considerable knowledge of accounting of Unrelated Business Taxable Income.
- Comprehensive technical skills, including providing full services to real estate owners, developers, and investors.
- Experience identifying and addressing client needs, building and maintaining client relationships, managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections.
- Experience as a team leader, supervising teams, seeking diverse views for improvement and innovation, and coaching staff.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $119,300 - $328,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within this range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
