Job Title: Commercial Litigation Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The Commercial Litigation Associate will be a part of a dynamic team of litigators at the law firm, representing a wide range of businesses and individuals in federal and state court proceedings, as well as in alternative dispute resolution venues. The role involves representing clients from diverse industries in a broad-based litigation practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Practicing law at a high level with a commitment to professionalism and excellence.
- Drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court.
- Providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality legal services.
- Achieving favorable outcomes for clients through sound judgment and strategic decisions.
- Building rapport with clients, fellow attorneys, and staff.
- Utilizing electronic discovery and litigation support tools.
- Working effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in litigation, with a preference for commercial or construction litigation experience.
- Strong litigation skills, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and court representation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and make strategic decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
Salary Information:
The base compensation for the Commercial Litigation Associate position ranges from $140,000 to $149,000. The final salary will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
