Location:
Duties:
- Manage personal injury cases from initial filing through trial
- Handle litigation files, including discovery, depositions, and case preparation
- Regularly interact with clients, adjusters, staff, and other lawyers
- Lead a litigation team of 5+ people
- Manage a pre-litigation team of 2-3 people
- Lead cases through trial and settlement negotiations
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Work independently while remaining accountable
- Expand trial skills and knowledge of trucking litigation
- Pursue board certification in truck accident law (if applicable)
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide effective solutions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Trial experience is preferred
- Experience with commercial vehicle and trucking litigation is a plus
- Admission to the Georgia Bar in good standing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education:
- Graduate of an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
- Current member of the Georgia Bar in good standing
- Admission to Texas federal courts (preferred, but not required)
