Job Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Wilmington, Delaware office. This opportunity is suited for attorneys with at least two years of litigation experience who are seeking to contribute across multiple practice areas. The role involves hands-on responsibility for drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, handling motion practice, and engaging in oral advocacy. Candidates must demonstrate superior writing ability, analytical thinking, and communication skills. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with a preference for three days in-office per week.

Location:

Duties:

  • Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

  • Conduct legal research and prepare analysis on a range of litigation topics

  • Support litigation teams across multiple practice areas as needed

  • Assist in managing discovery, depositions, and trial preparation

  • Participate in court hearings, arguments, and case strategy development

  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex legal matters

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience

  • Demonstrated proficiency in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy

  • Prior experience handling motion practice and court appearances

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

  • Commitment to high-quality client service

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Delaware Bar (required)
