Partner, Employee Relations & Immigration
Job Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Review and update investigation process.
- Oversee the internal investigation process.
- Conduct assigned investigations and track investigation progress through to completion.
- Facilitate complaint resolution in partnership with the Chief Human Resources Officer and the legal team.
- Coordinate and report on investigations with the compliance committee.
- Develop training and provide consultation and support in various employee relations/complaint areas to reduce future complaints and liability.
- Assist in process improvements related to complaint investigations.
- Contribute to a high level of work ethic and peer support within the HR team.
Immigration:
- Provide immigration support to external and internal stakeholders across all business units, escalating as needed.
- Assist with required immigration postings online and on-site, including tracking, filing, and record-keeping.
- Collect and provide documents and information to the company's immigration lawyers supporting employees’ immigration petitions.
- Maintain knowledge of all immigration requirements, including USCIS/DOL compliance documents.
- Coordinate with HR and external immigration lawyers to design processes and maintain track of all work visa and permanent residence cases’ status.
- Respond to USCIS site visits.
- Review immigration applications and maintain employees’ records and reports.
- Create, organize, and maintain electronic documents, databases, and file systems for audit compliance and tracking support.
- Monitor termination reports to initiate petition withdrawal requests for terminated staff.
- Collaborate with HR and the legal teams to anticipate and resolve all immigration issues.
Employee Resource Groups & Employee Engagement:
- Provide strategic insights with operational expertise in designing, implementing, and improving employee resource group programs.
- Partner with the company’s Employee Resources Groups (ERGs) to facilitate their strategic and tactical roadmap and activities.
- Promote ERGs’ initiatives and communicate to employees.
- Maintain a strong awareness of ERG issues and trends.
- Advise on ERG policies and best practices.

Education and Experience Information:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Master’s degree in human resources, public administration, or law preferred.
- Superior research, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven project management skills, including building sponsorship, communications, and stakeholder management.
- Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS, and database applications.
- International experience beneficial.
Experience:
- Knowledge of US immigration laws, policies, and regulations.
- Knowledge of the immigration visa process, including PERM, I-140, and AOS.
- Understanding of nonimmigrant classifications (., H1B, F1, TN, L1, J1, and O1).
- Minimum of 3 years of . business immigration experience in a law firm or corporate environment.
- 3 years in employee relations.
- Training and/or on-the-job experience in employee relations/complaint or investigations.
- Experience in providing advice and support to senior executives.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $125,000 USD to $135,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including the applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant's geographic location.
This role is eligible to participate in the company's annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
This role is eligible to participate in the company's standard employee benefit programs, which currently include medical, dental, vision, 401k, STD/LTD, paid family leave, life and accident insurance, paid time off (flexible vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay).
