Job Title: Tax - SAP Implementation Senior Consultant

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax - SAP Implementation Senior Consultant, you will play a crucial role within the Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) team at the company. Your responsibilities will include:

- Client Management: You will manage the day-to-day interactions with executive clients and sponsors, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met effectively.

- Delivery: You will manage and deliver components of SAP or indirect tax engine client engagements and teams. This involves overseeing the implementation of tax solutions related to enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and tax applications.

- Solutions: You will identify, design, and implement technology and innovative solutions to address the tax needs of clients.

- Cross Functional Teaming: You will understand and articulate the broader TTC practice and the company overall, maintaining relationships and serving clients holistically.

- People Development: You will perform the role of counselor and coach, participate in the staffing process, and engage in retention activities to nurture talent within the team.

- Business Development: You will develop and maintain contacts, organize and lead pursuit teams, and contribute to business development efforts.

Education and Experience Information:
To be considered for the role of Tax - SAP Implementation Senior Consultant, candidates must meet the following education and experience requirements:

- Required:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience in the implementation of tax-related solutions in SAP, including but not limited to tax requirements for direct tax such as corporate income tax, operational transfer pricing, state income taxation, and indirect (transaction tax) solutions using native SAP functionality or third-party tools like ONESOURCE Indirect Determination, Vertex, Avalara, Sovos (Taxware).
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- One of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed Attorney (or foreign equivalent).
- Enrolled Agent.
- Project Management (PMP).
- Other Technical Certifications (a comprehensive list of certifications is provided in the job description).

- Preferred:
- Experience with a Big 4 firm, large ERP/consulting organization, or a large IT department of a multinational company with tax-related experience.
- Experience working directly with clients.
