Job Title: Sales Operations Analyst 5

Job Responsibilities:
The Sales Operations Analyst 5, serving as a Complex Contract Negotiator, is tasked with negotiating and managing high-value professional services and managed applications services contracts. The role requires a blend of legal expertise, business acumen, and negotiation skills to craft agreements that meet the needs of all parties while minimizing risk and ensuring compliance with company business practices and policies. Key responsibilities include:

- Negotiation and Drafting of Software Agreements: Engaging in discussions with customers to structure favorable terms for both the company and client. Drafting nonstandard contract terms to ensure favorable outcomes and mitigate risks for complex contracts, including Professional Services Contracts, Cloud Service Agreements, and Partnership and Reseller Agreements.

- Financial Selling and Positioning: Collaborating with the Sales team to review competitors, evaluate competitive pricing, and prepare TCO/ROI analysis. Assisting Sales with pricing positioning and engaging with customer CIOs and CFOs as needed.

- Complex Pricing: Obtaining Bill of Materials from Solution Manager, calculating solution prices, and reviewing pricing elements like labor, hardware, and services to achieve target pricing.

- Risk Management: Assessing and managing risks associated with contracts, advising stakeholders on potential risks, and suggesting modifications to protect the organization's interests.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working with internal teams such as Sales, Product Management, Solution Architecture, and Delivery to ensure contractual terms align with product offerings and strategic objectives.

- Contract Management: Overseeing the contract lifecycle from drafting to negotiation and final execution. Providing guidance to sales on contract terms, including commercial, legal, and compliance considerations.

Education and Experience Information:
- 5+ years of experience in negotiating and drafting complex technology agreements, preferably within the software, SaaS, or tech industries.
- Advanced knowledge of contract law, especially related to software and technology contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications: Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM).
- Preferred advanced degrees: Juris Doctor (JD) or MBA in Business or Contract Management.
- Proven experience with licensing, SaaS agreements, software development contracts, and IP protection.
- Strong understanding of data privacy and security regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA) as they relate to SaaS and software.

Salary Information:
- The hiring range in the United States is from $97,500 to $199,500 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
- The salary range is broad to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, as well as to reflect the company's differing products, industries, and lines of business.
