Job Title: Reference Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with customers in real-time to discuss their legal research projects and craft research solutions tailored to their needs.
- Educate customers on research strategy, content offerings, and product functionality.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management to quickly resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that continuously evolves to meet the demands of customers while maintaining an industry-leading level of service.
- Collaborate closely with sales and account management, editorial, and product development teams to connect customers’ needs with business objectives.
- Engage in expert legal research and use knowledge of and experience with the law to assist customers in finding the answers they need.
- Take pride in research and problem-solving abilities, working hard to educate customers on how to maximize the use of company products.
Education and Experience Information:
- . from a . accredited law school and bar admission from any . state.
- Proficiency in computer and online systems with the ability to multitask while supporting customers via phone, live chat, and email.
- 1 – 2 years of prior legal experience preferred but not required.
- Prior customer service experience is beneficial, but the ability to take ownership of difficult issues with confidence and definitive solutions is key.
- Ability to proactively seek creative solutions while balancing business interests.
- Expressive, genuine, and friendly demeanor when working in a customer-facing role.
Salary Information:
- The base compensation range for this role is $48,300 - $89,700, varying across locations.
- Eligibility for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
- Compensation is positioned within the range based on factors such as individual knowledge, skills, experience, and consideration of internal equity.
