Job Title: Assistant General Counsel – Corporate Regulatory
Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant General Counsel – Corporate Regulatory is responsible for providing legal counsel on complex matters related to insurance regulatory filings, financial reporting, treasury support, corporate governance, subsidiary operations, and transactions. The role includes offering guidance and support on insurance regulatory filings and requests, and representing the company in dealings with trade organizations and regulators. The candidate will provide sound, actionable legal advice on regulatory, business, and operational matters within a complex and evolving legal and technology environment. The role involves partnering with business leaders to develop adaptive strategies that support the company's established business and further its growth, while advancing the company's mission.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor Degree.
- License to practice law in the state where the legal department is located.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney after receiving a law degree.
- Demonstrated experience with insurance and healthcare regulations.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Knowledge or understanding of the healthcare, health insurance, or claim administration field.
- At least 3 years of experience advising providers, insurers, or other healthcare entities.
Salary Information:
The compensation for this position ranges from $118, to $220,. Exact compensation may vary based on the candidate's skills, experience, and location.
