A law firm seeks an Associate or Of-Counsel Attorney in Amador County, California, to support a diverse practice spanning estate planning, probate, corporate law, real estate, family law, and general civil litigation.
Duties
Handle estate planning and probate matters, including drafting wills, trusts, and related documents.
Advise clients on corporate and real estate transactions, prepare agreements, and oversee closings.
Represent clients in family law proceedings, such as custody, support, and dissolution actions.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings for civil litigation, managing cases from inception through trial preparation.
Requirements
Active membership in the California Bar in good standing.
Demonstrated interest in or connections to the local community.
Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple practice areas.
Strong legal research, writing, and client-communication skills.
Education
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
Certifications
Admission to the California Bar.
Skills
Proficiency in drafting estate planning, corporate, and real estate documents.
Experience with courtroom procedures and trial advocacy.
Effective client relationship and case-management abilities.
Capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
