Job Title: Senior Sales Executive - GLLF
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Sales Executive is tasked with driving growth of new products within the Global Large Law Firm segment, specifically focusing on products such as Westlaw Precision, Practical Law, CoCounsel Core, and CoCounsel Drafting. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging with customer stakeholders, including attorneys and Practice Area Heads, to develop qualified opportunities through effective messaging and storytelling.
- Validating customer needs, shaping project plans, and driving deals to closure.
- Possessing core knowledge across products within the subsegment to effectively create and execute account-level sales strategies.
- Identifying when additional support from Account Sales Executives (ASE) or Business Development Representatives (BDR) is needed and bundling additional high-growth products.
- Achieving or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Creating and evolving holistic messaging to generate qualified opportunities.
- Maintaining and executing a Territory Business Plan.
- Developing and executing a territory REACH strategy to connect with attorneys and legal professionals, aiming to generate a pipeline that is three times the quota ratio.
- Conducting a high level of customer activity, aiming for at least 10 qualified customer meetings per week, with a focus on substantially more customer interactions compared to internal meetings.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Senior Sales Executive position should have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, with a JD or legal industry experience being strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of successful outside sales experience in professional B2B environments.
- A proven track record of sales success.
- Previous sales experience in software sales and/or online legal information is considered a plus.
- Working knowledge of sales processes, methods, and techniques.
Salary Information:
The target total cash compensation range for this role, which varies across locations, is between $178,500 and $331,500. This range includes both base pay and any target sales incentive. Pay positioning within this range is based on several factors, including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. The compensation package is part of a comprehensive Total Reward program, which includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
