Job Title: Partnership Tax SALT Senior Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead large projects and innovate processes to maintain operational excellence.
- Interact with clients at a senior level to drive project success.
- Perform state and local tax return reviews and finalize compliance tasks.
- Coordinate with other departments within the company to prepare, review, and analyze reports necessary for tax return preparation.
- Analyze reports for tax return preparation and communicate effectively to secure overall success.
- Validate outcomes with clients, share alternative perspectives, and act on client feedback.
- Direct the team through complexity, demonstrating composure through ambiguous, challenging, and uncertain situations.
- Initiate open and honest coaching conversations at all levels and make difficult decisions to resolve issues hindering team effectiveness.
- Model and reinforce professional and technical standards, including the company's tax and audit guidance, code of conduct, and independence requirements.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 6 years of experience required.
- A Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- CPA, EA, or Member of the Bar is preferred.
- Performing state and local tax return reviews and monitoring tax compliance requirements.
- Conducting tax research and solving complex issues.
- Experience working with financial statements and journal entries.
- Understanding financial systems and business processes.
- Coordinating with other departments for tax preparation.
- Innovating through new and existing technologies.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $89,000 - $315,000, with the possibility of an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range, with actual compensation dependent on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
